Parrish Knife Shoot / by Ryan Black

Over the years I've been requested to photograph cool products and recently I was asked to capture handcrafted knives by a local knife maker. The goal was to capture the knives to be entered into a knife magazine. The maker is incrediblly skilled and each blade hand shaped. I am not guru when it comes to this topic, but when you are shaping light on a product you often spot the blemishes in objects such as this. These things were positively stunning.
